Privacy Policy

Who we are
GP Guardian ("we", "us") is an independent Australian consultancy that helps people with withdrawal and account-access disputes involving investment platforms. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, and how we handle it in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
- Enquiry details you send us: your name, phone number, email address, the approximate amount involved, the type of platform, and your description of what happened.
- Correspondence: emails, messages and call notes if you contact us or we contact you.
- Case documents: if you engage us, records you choose to share — such as statements, transaction records and platform correspondence.
How we use it
- To review your enquiry and contact you about it.
- To carry out the work described in a written engagement agreement, if you decide to proceed.
- To meet legal and record-keeping obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your details for marketing lists.
Who can see it
Your information is only shared where it is necessary to handle your matter or run this website:
- Form processing: enquiries submitted through this site are delivered to us via Formspree, a form-processing service. Their handling of data is described in their own privacy policy.
- Your case: if you engage us, relevant information is shared with the bodies your case is submitted to (for example a bank, a complaint body, or an independent lawyer we refer you to) — and only for that purpose.
- Legal requirements: where disclosure is required by law.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not set tracking cookies. If we add analytics tools in the future, this policy will be updated first.
How long we keep it
Enquiry details are kept for as long as needed to respond to you. Case records are kept for the duration of an engagement and for the period required by Australian record-keeping laws, then deleted or de-identified.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. No online system is perfectly secure, so please only send documents through the channels we agree with you.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. Email support@gp-guardian.com and we will respond within a reasonable period. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
